On December 20, 2023, Turkey revised the Food Supplement Regulations. The contents of this revision include product specifications, Annex-1 (Annex 1-Part A: Permitted active ingredients and conditions of use) and Annex-2 (Annex 2-Information and documents required for application for approval of food supplements).
Food supplements approved before the publication date of this regulation and complying with the regulations on the import, production, processing and placing on the market of food supplements and the provisions of the Gazette on Food Supplements of the Turkish Food Code can be placed on the market before December 31, 2025.
The comment period for the regulation has been extended to January 28, 2024.
