conditions and restrictions, such as a ban on the use of glyphosate before crop harvest and the need for certain measures to protect non-target organisms. Member States are responsible for certifying glyphosate-tolerant plants.
Member States may restrict bans at national and regional levels if they deem it necessary to implement a ban based on the results of a risk assessment, in particular taking into account the need to protect biological diversity.
